Just got my emperors in this morning! They are beautiful! Can't wait till they put on some size. Much props to Frank for the fish. They came in well packed and arrived when he said they would. Great seller!!!!

You won't have to wait long. Mine will eat to the point that they have food hanging out of their mouths because there is no room left in the belly. I swear in eight hours they aren't even fat any more. These guys are machines.

Actually I got them around June 10th so around two months now. They were about 4" when I got them. You eyeballed them or measured them around 10" now so approx. 6" in two months. Honestly if it was my ultimate goal to grow them faster I could have fed them a lot more. I am feeding my main tank 5 days out of 7 1x per day and they really could eat 3x a day every day at least at this size. I would say 2" per month is moderate and 3" per month is very possible.
How many did you get Mr. Ifo?

4 is a good number. Don't forget they get monstorous. Honestly with only having one I should buy more. They act much differently seperate than they do with a group. I think a group moves around more.
