why not try LFS? fish doctors will probably take them if you know who they are.

I called several fish stores and they simply either don't want them or aren't willing to offer an amount that would be worth my time. They get these for dirt cheap and slap on a huge markup. One place told me they buy the adults for $7! Basically it comes down to that they only want to give me $2~$3/ea AND would only take a few. Then I would still have to waste the gas driving roughly an hr there and back to deliver. I think not. Nothing is local except the fishdoctors. However, I don't think they are even interested in them. I've mentioned it a few times but never really get an answer. I notice they don't stock them unless someone requests them.

I have an order thats going to be shipped mon or tues. Then another person was coming from another state to get some. So some will be moving in the next few days. I'll see whats left after that.

they really are cool, I'd take some but I keep a lot of salt in my tanks and my fish are mean lol. Where are these native to? I know a lot of people around here with nice size ponds that I'd like to dump 6-10 of these things in. I see brown crayfish around here all the time so I'm assuming they blue ones would make it?

Not sure where there native to. I don't see why they couldn't be placed in a pond. I think they are no different than the brown ones. The winter months might pose a problem tho.

yeah, if I were going to get them I wouldn't get them this late in the year. Maybe I'll PM you in the spring.

bump

still have a few. These ones are about 2". I do ship now as well. Overnite express preferred. Thats the longest my heat packs will work for. Anything longer (like priority mail) then all the risk is on you.
