I really dont think hes a comp. he is pretty identical to my black calvus same body shape, face, and distinctive mohawk style dorsal fin, just........... hes brown lol

x2 on the yellow comp. I have juvenile white calvus and the head shape is pretty different.

thought he was brown lol guess hes yellow, cant blame me cuz im really 60% color blind <--honestly

hmmmm now looking at the Altolamprologus compressiceps, its a toss up, they look soooo similar

If it were a calvus the head would be perfectly straight. If you look at the head there is a slight hump, as they grow it shows more. It is a comp.
