I'll start, mine is the good old gold/white saum(green terror) I've owned them on and off for around 12 years and I just love how active they are and how they just have that predatory alpha personality!!! , I've set up my new 45 and intend to grow one out then move him into a bigger tank when the time comes.
I gotta say my green terror as well, I had a pair when I was younger and no one has topped them. Second fav would be oscar
In my 20+ years of fish keeping, this was by far my favorite fish. His beauty, personality and attitude were second to none. His name was Stevie, and he was a 12" Amph (likely RD/Midas). I so badly regret getting rid of him. Here's a picture I took of him shortly before I traded him in.
Electric blue acaras and green Terrors are my favorite though I had a salvini that I really liked
