Fundraiser to save a MFK arowana

Anyone know how many gallons of water I need to send him in and if I should put 02 into the water and seal the bag tight or should I poof the bag with a cushion of air/o2? He's going to be bagged, in a cooler, with heatpacks, not much more than 8 hrs in transit.
 
Definitely use pure O2. It will ensure the oxygen conent of the water is at it's max.
 
Good luck with the fish transfer, and especially with your medical trials ahead.

OK! GOAL MET!!! Thank you all so much, with total pledges, we have the $200 to send the Aro, so it's been a success.

I'm waiting to hear from Ethnics, but it's looking like the adventure will be Thursday, so I'll keep you all updated and snap some pics.

According to Meiling, I put them at the amount needed. I think the rest, if any, should be put into a pot of sorts, for "emergencies" like this, for MFK'ers.

I agree, I was going to leave that decision to the donors, I'll let you know the total I recieved here by MFK members, the cost of the flight, and should there be any left over amount, I would like to know how you all felt about establishing a fund or donating to another emergency or rescuer.
