POTM anyone? :D

j/k, it really doesn't look too bad. Lucky you caught it so early on. Good luck

Not sure if it is really showing up in the pic, what does it look like, compared to ich?

have you introduced any new fish lately? ever use feeders?
Nope. No new fish, no feeders in there for almost 2 years.

it looks like mild ich mated with a cotton ball.

If it is the start of White spots (Ich) i would turn the temp up and add some salt as well as your meds. At 25 degree C one monocye can reproduce it self into more than 3000 individuals per hour. As the temperature goes up, it will slow in reproducing and eventually kill it off(not the fish the ich).

but as said it isn't looking to bad from the pics and as for bad pic thats a stunner in my book

actually it will speed it up, but it does get to a point where it cant handle the high temperature and die, lower temperatures slow down the reproduction cycle.

You can destroy the organism with heat, and can be combined with the salt treatment below, but not with meds. The data I studied (including a report by the Southern Regional Aquaculture Center, which is currently archived here)

Hens more air, salt heat ;) i have used this to cure white spot and it works if you havent got to stick meds in your tank why do it.

Did this go away, did you treat with anything?
