Lol at the direction this thread took! :D

Out of all of those only the last one is really bad. The 55's are fine in terms of pricing unless I missed something in them. The 10 gallon isn't the best but $120 for a 10 gallon setup isn't unheard of.
Not unheard of (although it probably should be) but definitely very rare.. I pay a fortune for anything down here but I can get an unbranded 10gal (that's 40ltrs-ish right?) for $120 brand new, granted it would only be a tank and maybe an internal box filter and some cheap orange gravel but still... Even I wouldn't pay $120 for a used 10gal, and I paid $1700 for my 400ltr  it'd want to have all the high end bells and whistles for me to even consider that price on a used tank that small. :)

Same here depending on the condition of the tank. Usually a 125 with stand is around $250 unless the guy wants it gone. A 55 full setup for $120 I feel is a more then fair price. I can't stand people who always say used tanks are $1 a gallon when your trying to sell it. If that was the case why don't you hobbit the tank that's listed at $1 a gallon. Price on used tanks increases the same way as new tanks. Usually $1 per gallon only apply to tanks 75 gallons and under. After that try to find a $300 300 gallon. Usually they still fetch around $1000.
yea, I got a 120g for $100 about 6 years ago, but the crossbrace was broken, so it is what it is - ended up custom building a reptile-top for it and sold it for $130 a few years later :) Guy wanted it for a Caiman anyway, so win-win. Other than that I noticed when you get over the 100g-mark, nobody seems to follow the $1-per-gallon anymore - thicker glass is a lot more expensive though, so it makes sense
