it's so funny because in louisiana (where i live) piranhas (s/p?) are illegal. i can't count how many times someone has come up to me and said. "say mayne, ya'll got any piranhas??" i just look at them and say, "i'll get you some if you wanna go to jail." :screwy:

I have gone snipe hunting several times, I like #7 shot in a double barreled 20 guage, quite tasty.

after working in an LFS for four years, you get waaayyy too much of this crap, most of its not even funny..Can't tell you how many times I've had to spend hours dealing with angry parents looking for "those little turtles I used to have when I was a kid, the kind that stay small and live in a little bowl and only live a year or so".....ughhh...or the people who come in looking for a replacement goldfish for their 1 liter bowl, who after being told that goldfish can't live in a bowl will reply (as if I were the idiot) "well, that's just ridiculous-- Because my last goldfish lasted a whole six months in the bowl!". The list goes on and on...
 
When they tell you their goldfish lived for a whole 6months or whole 2 years or whatever amount just say to them. "well the lifespan of a goldfish can be over 30 years, so being so proud of your goldfish living for only 2 years is like being proud of your child dieing at the age of 5"
 
Okay, here's a good laugh for you guys.

I don't know crap about koi except what they look like. I honestly have no idea what's so funny. Can you clue me in before you throw the vegitables at me? I had no idea that koi cood be fish mutts. Or is this not the case and that's what's so funny?:confused:
