I do own test kits for ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite, but use them only occasionally if I have to cycle a tank without using used filter media, etc. Otherwise I do a lot of water changes and keep up the routine. I don't own a pH test kit though, never seems necessary since I don't breed anything that requires much different pH than my tap water

yep me too i got a test kit but i look at my fish to tell how my tank is doing and it never lats me down mybe im nutz but my fish r still alive
