funny lfs story

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i was over at a friends house when they asked if i wanted a few extra fish, she took me over to this tank with 2 gourami's and 3 plecos in a 10 gal with no fitration. i took the gourami's immediatly and told her she should take the plecos to the LFS if she didnt want them....i feel so bad for fish in small tanks

i hate when people reply the fish doesnt get that big in captivity. them idiots its for a reason, of course the fish isnt going to get that big (in a 10 gal. tank) :swear:

uggh dont evem start me

i cant tlel you how many times my manager has cussed me out for not selling tsns/rtcs/arowanas to people with 30 gallon or less tanks

now i just let them get sold and wait until thye come back 1-2months later at 10-16in and pick out anything i want....

maybe if we're lucky that guy will fall into the tank and the tsn will eat HIM and someone will be videotaping it and post it here!

thats not strange ot anything

Yeah, that shoulds like a bunch of crap to me. A tiger shovelnose 39 inches in length couldn't live in a tank that size for any length of time. The guy would have to do a 50% water change everyday and the cat's whiskers would be burnt off due to extreme ammonia toxicity...

When I worked at the lfs for a brief period of time I heard all kinds of stupid stories about what people did with fish.

Over at my college in the biology department there's a 55g tank with 3 large pacu, the largest being nearly 9 inches or so. Then there's 3 blood parrots(wtf?) and a 12 inch pleco. You'd think they'd know better. What makes it funnier is that the large pacu was actually put in there at that size. :clap
