Diego is now 7", I think he has monster potential. Unlike most jags I see here, I rarely see his tail anything but almost solid black. Excuse the amateur picture quality.

As long as it has the space it will be a monster. I really like its colors! The black tail is pretty sweet!
 
He's in a 150 with a small female. Will only eat silversides. Obviously, he has me trained.

I bought him at around 4" from FlowerPower.


He loved both his girls equally but they didn't want to share him. As soon as he mated with the first she became Glenn Close and went all fatal attraction on the other female. He never attacked either but every time he went near the secondary female the primary almost killed her.

So now he's alone with Glenn Close...picture attached

SWEET he looks Great i LOVE those dark colors on him!! and yes you keep that water clean and feed him tons of shrimp and insects (in addition to his pellet of course) then he will get MONSTER status in no time! i would def fast him for a couple days until he starts to eat pellets as that will provide the most complete diet for him (as im sure you already know lol) but some can be more stubborn than others lol
 
Talk about timing...look at the same fish just 4 days after initial picture!
