Yes i have alot of experience building 'Gizmo's', mainly from the days before Arduino. As a scientist, it was often essential, to build things yourself for experiments etc.
It developed into another all consuming hobby! We managed to talk Carp out of using the PI as the main controller, i will be building a different controller for the new fish house, once its built!
