I concur fully !! just curious what are your tank conditions that would require you to get two? I just use one on my 220 gallon - and its more than enough for my conditions....

I AM GOING TO SEND PICS OF MY 6X2X2 soon!!.........its filterd as above and houses 2-12 inch fat bala sharks and 1-fat 9inch....also large tinfoils......large severums....catfish......and maybe soon a sliver arowana or giant gourami not sure yet.
FX5 PICS ALSO.

LATERS!!!!!!!!!!

I USE TWO BECAUSE I WANT PURE WATER CURRENT,AND PURE CLARITY....AND HIGHLY OXYGENATED.WATER,,,,THE SHARKS AND TINFOILS LOVE IT,,,, GROW BIG FAT AND HEALTHY.:headbang2

the kinda feed back i want to hear

Thats cool, makes me feel better about spending the money on one when I hear good things about them.

i have a 240 with a 36x16x12 wet/dry and i'm still gonna get an fx5 because that thing makes it so easy to do water changes.

There is more than enough positive (actually 100% positive) information on these filters on this forum alone. There is no comparision between the FX5 and the 304 or 404 - the FX is in another league.

how much current does it create, 920 GPH is a whole lot of water for one filter to push out, just curious, my fish dont like a strong current, but I would love to get one, although I am filtering 900gph with cascade and emperor filters
