F1 I got two replacements in the mail yesterday and they look about the same two teeth inside the clamp now again I'm not mechnical but I can't see how you can use these clamps on rubber without the inside edges or teeth if you want to call it that digging into the rubber

You are actually posting at the end of another post, go to the main forum page scroll down to a subject and at the top you will see a new thread btton in white. As far as your issue with a 120 if you can afford it I'd do 1X FX5 and 1X406. Your going to get lots of suggestions but you always will be better with two filters in case one fails.
I have already shipped it back to the vendor trying to decide to get a replacement or buy another brand? I had just taken it out of the box brand new.
Replace it! Upgrade to vinyl tubing, you won't be sorry! Plus, those hose clamps won't be able to shred the vinyl. Mfk tech support is on 24/7 in addition to the ppl at hagen

Well my Marinelands are also almost brand new, they seem to work well thus far, they seem as well built as the FX5 anyway. I hate the input/output parts but the rest seems ok. Three year warranty so I figure if it makes it past three years it will have paid for itself. If I was to add say a 2262 or a 2080 would that not be way overkill for a 125 with two 530's also? I guess I could always box a Marineland as a spare but would that make sense to you folks just to say I got the Eheim? I've cut back one tank at this point so I have both running on the 125? I've posted this here when I look I maybe should have started another post?
I wouldn't recommend 2080 and 2262 is way overkill unless you have a super heavy load.
