I love the FX5. It is the only canister filter I have found which rivals a sump for its water flow and biological filtration. If you buy two sets of the foam, you can bleach one and trade it out for the old, leaving all of the biological filtration inside (ceramic rings and such) and cleaning out for the mechanical filtration. Then, next month, you just put in the other, dried foam. It works out really well.
