Never had an issue. And infact I drilled the tank for the drains so they are probably under considerably more pressure.
The bulkheads are also teed off to a manifold so I can drain the tank too, while the filters are still running
As a precaution against a power outage and too much pressure on the canister I made this out of really heavy duty orings I got from work.

Strapped around the canister it holds the lid down and also holds the main latches tight against the body.
The media baskets don't actually hold as much as it looks like they do. If you put too much in the baskets the top won't seat right. I always use silicone grease on the orings every servicing. The only leaks I've had were from the crappy supplied intake and spraybars. So I've got all custom plumbing and diy heaters/returns... but I still liked the green hose. The barrel nuts on the stop valve don't work good and I had micro bubbles.
I used jbweld on the threads on the nozzles and expanded the hose to about 3/4" so it could be slipped over the entire thing and use a hose clamp. No issues after that. Can't complain about a little trouble shooting. The thing cost $40
