wow just found this, only thing that worries me is it says its an abrasive?

that is exactly what I have, but my brand is CEMEX. but the #2/16 is the size I got, and I think what Justin has is #1C, which is almost identical in size. I actually had to take it out of my ray tank, which is occupied by my 3 alts, 5 heckelii and 2 leucs because we are pretty sure it is scratching up the bottom of my female ray. But my geos have no problem with it. great sand. WAY better than that PFS

Check the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of a few brands of pool filter sand and you'll be suprised what you find too, not all are 100% silica. It varies my manufacturers. I have kept this brand with my geos since June 2009 and they love it. Sift through it more than the PFS and quicrete brands I tried as well. If you hold local brand of PFS and this stuff next to one another in your hands you can feel the PFS is far more abrasive as I mention before. Try it, you'll be suprised. I was.
