Dont just get r done, use a respirator. If you heat up galvanized metal in any way shape or form, it will release fumes. (talking through experience).

It really stinks too. I had to weld it a couple of times bout 8 years ago, just quick fixes. Wear a respirator.

Either get a respirator or get one of these guys with a death wish to do it for you! You've still got a good 50 yrs left, maybe they don't...

Agreed^.

Respirators don't look very cool, but once you get used to wearing one you won't want to go without it!

What pray-tell, are you doing with a 4x4x2 foot galvanized tank indoors, may I ask?

I dont have one indoors...thats the problem! I have a 6 by 4 by 4 outside the frond door, and I want my TSN in it in the front room. So it needs to become a 6 by 4 by 2 to get it through the front door!!!

Yeah, but the fuels compressed...I'm gonna chuck a match in tonight and see!

Get a wet blanket to thro over it and you can send me smoke signals (I used to do stupid stuff like that whan I was a kid, which reminds me I haven't taught that to my grandson yet!

If you want to wake the neighbors tho 2 cups of alcohol in it and wait 5 minutes then thro the match in :D. (could take out the windows for a few hundred feet :nilly:).
