Kissme and ewurm....I think your both getting a little carried away here. You obviously disagree, so just stay out of eatchother's way. I don't want to take sides but ewurm....in all fairness this is her thread. Kissme, I don't want to take sides but you have to understand that this is a fishKEEPING site, most of us don't eat our fish and don't like the idea of other people doing it. I am not saying I am against it...I don't understand why you want to do it but whatever, I gave my advice...I suggested some things....even though I think it's a bit odd i still gave advice. I still think your paranoia is a bit odd...the fish at the supermarket are perfectly safe. I don't really see the need to raise a fish in an aquarium and then eat it, unless it is a species that grows to large for the tank like a pacu or RTC.

Seriously, that is absolutely ridiculous that you refuse to buy food from the supermarket because you do not trust them. Like some said it is very unlikely that the supermarket fish came from some local river.
Growing a fish strictly to eat is beyond all logic, what is the point to wait some two years for a meal size that will barely feed one person? This is beyond all logic.

Well you know all i did was asked a ques. i didn't say i was actually gonna do it. He was the one that got all bent out of shape first.
