what i am saying is why would you buy aggressive fish and then throw a fit when it acts aggressive?

I am with everyone else. I gave all his Videos 1 star rankings to help slow them on people's searches. Cichla in the wild it's different, the fish can swim away and since their is plenty of room they are more docile. The smaller the space, the more agressive they get and with that many cichlids in that size of a tank your asking for trouble with those Mixes.

The guy is a complete moron/tool for glorifing it. I get so tired of hearing "it's just a fish" or "It's just an animal". If thats your attitude, get a stuffed animal or buy a painting. Less hastle and maintanence

I don't even know what to say to this. I don't think most of the people who keep cichlids buy them just to fight them like you seem to be implying. I know many people, myself included, who keep cichlids as single specimens - so that they DON'T fight.

Just because they're aggressive in nature, doesn't mean people should keep them with the intent to encourage such behavior.

Noun

dumbass

  1. (US, vulgar, slang) A person marked by stupidity or foolishness.

Hey, that works too!

Yes cichlids are aggressive, but really the point of this whole thing is the fact that there is no where to run; it is an enclosed environment.

How would you be like being in a cage match with a UFC champ with no rules or anywhere to run. You wont stand a chance, neither did the Midas. It was a cage match to the death.

This is SpartA!!!!

Warriors are warriors. Gotta give them a moment to be what they truly are. Why do humans fight? We fight too dont wee? Sometimes we record ourselves too!

But me, Im not scared to see a fight. The male Midas is a bad ass fish.

PPL have different limits and tolerance levels. Not like the owner let them fight to death guys. Look at how healthy they all look. When the fight ends, he seperated them!

I enjoyed videos.

Retard. Not in the technical sense, but the slang sense.

I keep all of my aggressive cichlids solo. I do not like to see human-induced cruelty to animals in any form.

ok, i believe it is cruel and inhumane to put fish in a glass cage. its cruel and mean to force them the foods you want to feed them and not what they would normally eat in the wild. you see what i mean? (which just so yall dont blow up again and take everything the wrong way, i dont believe that). everyone has their convictions when it comes to fishkeeping, but just because your convictions dont agree with someone elses doesnt mean they are wrong in what they do. who decides what is morally right and wrong in fishkeeping?
