In the wild most fish have thousands and thousands of gallons of water. They have their own territories to protect but if a fight does happen theres plenty of room for the weaker one to escape. The jackass who made the video should have done something to stop it. The poor midas was getting beat up by a fish way bigger then it was. The fight should have been stopped or better yet prevented by keeping such aggressive fish in either a very large tank or separate tanks.

There is no difference in fighting fish, in this sense, which by the looks of it is for pure entertainment, or fighting dogs for fun. You are fighting a losing battle against a forum whoms members do not take pleasure in watching fish kill each other.

Keeping a fish in a glass cage is not the same as letting a fish get killed slowly and painfully. And no I dont force my fish to eat foods I want them to eat-from day one my ate and ate a lot they never shyed away or had to get weaned off any food. reported because these vids are stupid and give the people who keep large, predatory fish a bad name. these posts never end well and i remember a mod giving a warning about threads like these on one that was closed not so long ago. these vids are no different than fighting dogs or roosters for entertainment, all utterly disgusting.
isn't this retard the same guy with the same mida, that got torn apart by a trimac? I remember the marks on the top of the mouth. IF i remember correctly the trimac was dragging the red devil out of its spot. I bought ciclids because of the aggression, not to fight them till they get hurt.
