i nearly have my gar dream tank...give me about a year and i'll be set!

i will have mine in a few years. after i get a house and all that stuff. do you have plans for a gator? im gonna get a pool/pond 24'x12'14' for my future gator.

same here. like i said once i get a house then i gotta worry about getting the 300 or 500g for my fish i have now. then i will start the gator project.

Gars are pretty fun to keep
I had a northern pike before though and he was cooler than a gar (much more active and ferocious)

bloody strange pike that then.... have u even seen how a gator acts in a tank.... and to say a pike is more actve is nutts! even compared to a fl/sp... either you had a very disgruntled pike or it was just a very oddly behaved pike!


and a dream gar tank is 6 trops periord.... maybe mix in so fl/sp.... an thing else is a head ache!!!! depeds if u can handle it or not.....
