Gar having bent back

Hi guys.
I’ve been keeping a spotted gar(7”) for about 2 months now. When I checked the tank today morning the guy had bent back. Is it due to bad water quality? And also he has stopped eating for over 2 weeks now. Is it due to him not eating ,his back being bent???
Plz help. And to make him start eating should I give him feeders?

Probably injured from jumping or rammed into aquarium.

Tbh I personally never heard or read that a injury like that being cured.

Thanks a lot . But I did read that before ....
You mean that the gar would have to stay like that his whole life? Isn’t there anything I can do?

According to the link it could be water related I'm assuming it's a injury. Hopefully it's a water issue test your water parameters.

Ok thanks. So will the back be alright In a few days or will it be permanent?

Can't put a time on that have to wait it out.

Suspect from injury as already mentioned. Time will help but no specific time.
