Could explain a little more about the "signs of starvation" because my Gator Gar hasn't been eating the same since we moved and I wanna know what to look for.

the cuban(darker one), as i stated earlier still displays the results of starvation, and there's a 'dent' in the neck right behind the skull. i'm hoping it'll one day regrow.

fat dude??:ROFL::ROFL:

i'll leave the answers out for now but any particular reasons for the guesses?
i think i didn't do so bad, all this reading on gar is finally paying off!:D
I got a florida myself, so i do recognize those.
I like the gators very much and did read a lot about them.
The cuban has my attention, for it's one of the gar species I'd like to keep someday.
Any of the other species wouldt have been a harder cookie, for i still don't know most of their differences.:grinno:

im not sure about when it just started, but when i got the cuban it its belly and eyes were sunken in and had a dent behind its neck, overall much more skeletal compared to the usual stocky frame of an atractosteus sp gar.
