Don't know, still think he could have hurt his back

So I haven't seen his waste on bottom of the tank from past three days and so this could not be a problem related to his stomach right?

If it's a back problem he may not eat for some time, just keep the water clean and have a few quarantined guppies in there for when he gets healed up and decides to eat, this may take weeks

Can someone help me indentify these gars? I'm planning on buying them but have previously mistaken a spotted gar for an alligator gar. Thanks in adavance.
