needle nose and hujeta are not true gars

vmahaffe: that doesn't look like a gator, to me it looks more like a longnose gar and in the wild they top out around 5'

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not gar expert so I don't want someone to end up with an actual gator gar because of me

that's a Longnose gar. they get between 2-3 feet in aquaria.

I think its a longnose gar too, but as the quote above says the tanks you have are too small. So it does not really matter.
