Gar Of The Month Contest

should be interesting to say the least...i look forward to seeing many new pics of everyone's gars! i think we'll also figure something out to put the winners' photos on Lepisosteidae.net and primitivefishes.com if they would like to share (would be particularly nice additions to LEP.net).

i have a couple interesting pics to post shortly, but i can honestly say that i won't be taking any new pics in the next couple weeks because of travel and lab/dissertation work...i'll see what i can do to participate though (perhaps some obscure pics from the GARchives).

either way, i look forward to seeing how this goes, mainly because everyone gets to submit gar pics and we get to see a new group every month--
