heheh, as quite a few have guessed, it's a xanthic (gold) shortnose gar. my initial thoughts were that of a xanthic cuban, but after looking at it for some time, i decided shortnose. as Sol stated, the give-aways are...
: fat, elongate caudal peduncle and long pelvic fins...
before Sol takes drastic action, i'd better post this here too...haha
