Okay, for the sake of simplicity, I labeled the gars in Xander's photo.
Here's my take on their IDs:

The one hiding in the bush, kinda looked Florida then you said it wasn't. I compared it to the other Tropicals.haha told you the garmy was getting good Solomon...

I came to my conclusions based on the fins, snouts, and eyes of the gars. I also used their patterns and coloration in some cases, too, but, for future reference for others, an ID should not be based solely on pattern and coloration in most cases.
that's not necessarily a fair statement...you're playing this game in "God Mode"...

it is getting good, no question about that! and thanks for reposting in this forum, i didn't want to ruin it ahead of time
that being said, there is plenty that plays along with pattern in that quiz, but where pattern would cause some questions (since we know we can't always go by pattern), your stocklist is well-known, particularly to the regulars...so i think that helps anyone out in guessing...helped confirm for me when i was initially going through it, and it helped anyone else. denying (not you, but anyone else) that is BS
