Yeah they're all about 5-6". Picked them up from George this past week.

Not all are in the same setup. Trops and Floridas are in one. Longnoses are in another. The Cubans are in a third setup.

Thanks....I had some shorties, but they were way too skittish for my setup. They had all of the gars darting all over. I've also refrained from keeping gators because I've had problems with them and aggression in the past.
 
Looking great E! Is one of those still my old tropical? I saw those cubans at SA last sunday. What day did you get yours? Think I may have to get some and grow them out too!

I went on Wednesday I think as I had a meeting out in that neck of the woods. I was actually surprised to see them.

Garrr, now you are making me want one!

I saw a beautiful spotted at my LFS around 12"TL. I told them to hold it for me so I could go back and get some fish to trade them. Well I get back and they accidently sold the one I had on hold! :irked:

For some reason I never was into these guys cause I see hundreds over the summer, but now that I got my rays and I cant get aros I think they would be a good choice for a top dweller.
 
DC you got all the gars at SA and left one for me how nice. i was thinking about getting one on tuesday. maybe i will get it if it's still there monday.

When I had rays, I've kept gars, silver/black aros with them without a problem. The only nervous moments were during feeding time, when the gars would scour the bottom with their noses looking for food. Sometimes an errant nip of the rays' discs or tails would occur, but they'd let go quickly.

LOL....You're gonna have to battle michael for that last one. These cubans were an unexpected impulse buy.
