Gasping and heaving arrowhead

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey there Mister ;): I LOVE my ghost shrimps, LOL. We have a few in our other tanks. I could't bring myself to give them as food. :WHOA: (am a huuuuuge softie). We've got a snail farm going on, though, for our other puffers previously, and him now. He seems to quite like these too.

Currently he gets thawed bloodworms. We did his worms in Garlic Guard and we plant them right in front of him so he can find it easily (+ it's fool of stinky garlic and vitamins goodness) :naughty:. Come to think of it, we could make him 'escargot': we just need to dip the snails in garlic guard, LOL.

A pinch of salt is ok. I feel its the constant water changes in an uncycled tank causing the stress. Add a few ghost shrimps, he will like them.

I posted a duplicate post by accident but I don't know how to delete it.

Thought I'd update you. I am definitely sure there's improvement tonight. He's not so clamped, and he's lost some ich. Also, he's not breathing 1/2 as heavy as he was. Fingers crossed that we're on the up.

Hi you guys. Just to let you know: he's way better. He's behaving normal again. I am soooooo relieved. He's a fabulous fish and I can't wait to get to know him better. Thanks a lot for your help.

Yep, we've been using the combo. It says on the box that it's safe. It really seems to have done the trick. What a relief.

So are you using eSHa2000 and eSHa Exit in combination?
I'll be interested to see the outcome and hear how effective you think it's been.

Your wish is my command :D. I love showing off our fish, LOL.

So here's a couple. My husband loves skull decorations (he's a punk drummer - I wish I was joking).

I really like the one of him playing in the bubbles. What he does is swim to the substrate close to the bubbles, then let go and let himself be lifted upwards. Then he'll just do that again and again. It's so cool to watch.

He's really responsive. If we wriggle our fingers outside the tank, he'll come out to check it out. I wonder if his intentions are good, though. I wouldn't leave my fingers too close... :WHOA:

Great to hear he's ok
It would be nice to see a photo of him when you can get one.
