If its of any help I get three of those guys a few weeks ago and after I put them in my tanks they all acted like they wanted to die for about a week for the two smaller ones and 3 days for the big guy.Their behavior was much like what you described except w/out the ich and mine didnt eat for a long time. they are fine now and we have them out for costemers, nobody has bought them as of wed but theyre cool fish
