gator

it is natural for a gator gar to grow fast. as a result they have an amazing appetite to match their growth. feeding him less would only be poor care. i agree overfeeding isn't a good thing, but if you underfeed only because of your inability to house it then that is just poor husbandry and the fish shouldnt have been bought to begin with.

Not only that but if he has tankmates and you underfeed he will have a go at eating his mates...and the less he's fed, the more likely he will attack larger & larger tankmates.

Yea, i did mention, feed for its needs, no overfeeding, no underfeeding.

My gator once ate up my peacok bass, gator was around 15 inch, peacoBass was 9 inchs, unbelieveable...!!!!

SAD but TRUE, too bad i dint take any pic that time, his belly was damn BIG, feel like almost burst.....

I never underfeed my fish , i usualy overfeed and i belive that live food gets better colors and grow . today in the gar tank they all just eat pellets except gar that get a 10cm fisk that was beat by my FH, wall my fish are very hungry and a bit agressive because the tanks are getting big temps , the 150g is 84 , the 55g is 90 , and the 65g is also 90 f, so they are very active
