GE Silicone II Window & Door IS it Safe???

I just used GE Silicone II Window & Door IS it Safe???
I don't have the tubes anymore, Dose anyone know off hand?

I think Silicone II is the bad one :S
Silicone I is the Safe one =D

I could be wrong though but it think thats how is works =^_^=

Yeah GE II has the Bioseal which protects mold and mildew from forming.

You want the GE I, it doesn't have the Bioseal stuff in it.

So that means I have to rip up all the slate and scrape out all the silicone.
This really sucks!

I'll find out tonight if I'm totally screwed.

Silicone 2 is fine, I use it all the time..I think they took out the anti-mildew additive.

I think not. Some people have used it with success. The modest amount of anti fungal agents may be negligible like the anti-caking agents in salt. It may be that when fully cured they don't leach that bad. Or it may be that the testing of the tank rinsed out most of the pollutants.

But to be totally safe, I would try and use Silicone I.

I used Black.
Also seems like a major disagreement.
I really need to know for sure here, for me this is major!!!!

i can tell you for sure that colour has nothing to do with anything. Usually the tubes say mildew resistant, but it should be 100% silicone I am not sure if that is what the II is.
