Take a camera or something and take a pic of the front of it. It'll easily say that it has the Bioseal on it. It's like this green circle with blue on it. Just compare it with GE I which doesn't show this logo.
OK I'm back,
It says Bioseal and it contains Something that begins with an H.
The Silicone I doesn't say Bioseal and it contains something that begins with an M.
Doesn't the BIOSEAL kill bacteria?
I also read in another forum that it has arsenic in it.
Won't it leach out chemicals because it's not inert?
I am so screwed.
I would try it out when its fully cure, like a week or so then wash the tank with lots of salt the more salt the better, after that test it with feeder fish or some scaleless fish then you will know the result if they all survive.
I would try it out after it's totally fully cured also. Wait a full week then fill with hot water and drain and repeat, that should get help a little. Might take awhile but worth it in the end. Like someone else said try some scaleless fish and some cheap fish(convicts or guppies) and see what happens.
But there is a reason why noone recommends the GE II with Bioseal, so it probaly won't work. A box cutter really helps with getting silicone out.
