Gecko "hand" feeding

You don't have to smother the crickets with vitamins. A light shake n' bake will do nicely. Plus some of it comes off after you put the crickets in the tank.

I am just feeding them, I'm not covering them in dust.

Eric, what I do is I have a little ziplock baggie that I keep with calcium in, then I put the crickets in the back and do the shake and bake dance a little, then I put the crickets in the tank. The dust stays on pretty well.

It's impossible for me to feed me gecko by hand. He's way too aggressive. He usually takes my fingers along with the cricket, and I can tell you he has some sharp teeth!!! He might have mellowed out enough by now for me to try it again though.

I don't dust the crickets either, he seems to prefer them au naturale

just get some tongs and thatll do the trick ... if hand feeding is your bag
