Would a single male Geo Bra. get along with a school of 7 red head tapajos geos in a 125 for now and a 8' 300 later. They are both about the same length but the Bra is a much taller body.

Geo. Brasilensis can be agressive, they are not like your common earth eaters. I would drfinately keep an eye on it with the tapajos. Maybe since you have a largwer tank it would work though.

I'm not sure how well it would work out. They are 2 completely different fish in terms of aggression, behavior, and even size. I can't say 100% it wouldn't work, especially in the size of tanks your talking about, but there is a very good chance the Brasiliensis will harass the Tapajos.

I have 2 Brasiliensis Geo's and they are amongst the most docile fish I keep. Have never noticed signs of aggression at all. I have them with Abalios Geo's, Uaru's, and other peaceful cichlids. All in a 120g.

my geo Brasiliensis killed my bigger green severum he is more aggressive then my oscar but it all depends on the each fish some are aggressive and some are not

I just wanted to see if anyone else tried it...I know it depends on the fish it self. I will be trying it...but I have plenty other tanks to move out the geo bra if he gets too rowdy.

Well I made the first move today. Moved a bunch of fish into the 125 and then added the geo bra. So far so good they dont even look at each other. In the tank is a female lyonsi 4-5", geo bra 4-5", 7 geo tapoajos 4-5", 5 bosemani rainbows 2-3", female rtm 3", v. bifa 3", v. syn 3". This in preperation for my 300tall.

lol its probably not going to last...the geo bra is chasing the tapajos...not fin shredding attacks...but a steady pace of chasing. Guess I need to decided if which one I want to keep.
