Bolivian fish tend to due better with slightly lower temps, around 76-78 F, though it's pretty much constant year round compared to the Urugray cooling period.
I do consider myself very lucky, Apistos will be my next conquest, after I feel comfortable with the grouping of Geos/Gymmies/Mykros I am building....Need to get some Sants tho (1-2) for my big tank, after I break off some of my groups...
Hi Nuthman.... I agree with Peter... you are very lucky to get such a great selection of beautiful fish available to you.. If you ever make the trip out in this direction I think I know a few folks that would offer to help with you overload... you know who we are right.
Can't wait to see new pics once you rearrange the tank inhabitants .. Take care Sue
Have you seen that there's a 300g stock tank for sale in our area? I think I saw it on CL for like $150. Maybe $200. (Or was it on here? Who knows.) Put some plexi on that and you can get all of them. I'll take some off your hands later as you have to pare down.
I'd love to know what that Megasema looks like under the lights.
This is by far the biggest variety of geos I've seen at any one time for sale. It's killing me that I won't be able to buy any this weekend.
You will get some Megasema down the road, I have 6 coming and may get another bag of 6 for 12 total and then let them grow out and pare down with my friends...
Not to mention some Tap II's as well at the classic!
