OMG that is really so adorable .. and so wonderful.. almost too much.... here she is such a baby herself, having such an early bunch a fry and taking in african fry as well.. has oddball seen these? .. i am sure he will enjoy this as much as i have .. and this is a great picture..i am going to ask you to keep taking more pics, because i think this is a truly special event in the fish world. And thanks for being so fast.. i thought i would have to wait to later because i was heading out.. maybe you will have more when i get back?? I know sometimes i am greedy..

What a great mother. All those youngins of her own and she can still find it in her heart to adopt a few extra.

Nice. Remember what I said about those... they are the convict of the geos. We had a pair of them spawn a few times(5"male 2"female). So the small female doesn't alarm me, but the small male is a surprise. Have you seen the mother do the "head bob" and all the fry fly into in her mouth? Its awsome to see.

I'd start feeding crushed up spirulina pellets, it will make em grow real fast. And of course baby brine shrimp.
 
That's awesome. I want fry. Yeah, you really need a new lens Levi, your pics are crap! LOL You;re so far ahead on photography I'll never catch up.
