Geophagus tapajos "Orangehead" spawn!

Both parents are still holding. Saw a few free-swimming fry this morning but the parents quickly picked them up.
So here is the question - how long should I leave them alone? They are in a 55 all by themselves with sand substrates. It'll be hard to feed them with BBS in the "big" tank and I don't want to starve the fry....
