I'm forced to make a decision between keeping 2 of my Geos or Pandas.

The Pandas gotten pretty aggressive with the two pictured in addition to a PBASS which I had to already let go. They just run the the tank. They leave my Redhead Pair alone and Altifron. They also don't bother any of my Discus nor Altums.

I'm leaning towards getting rid of the Geo's and keeping the Panda's since they don't come around too often.

what do you guys think...

Pandas are nice but i have never seen anyone raise them without problems in the long run,if you can raise them with out the problems everyone runs into you will be the man,so i guess it would be worth keeping them, but i have tried and i know others that have tried and i have always ended up with hith no matter what i did(auto water changer, soft water, etc) yours look really good though so maybe you will be the one to pull it off. good luck with the decision,i personally will never keep them again. So i voted geo

The Pandas are great, yes. But.... You never have to worry about any type of Geophagus EVER dropping the hammer on any of those nice WC discus. Im just sayin....

SO TRUE!

In my opinion, I think the pandas are the best looking cichlids out there.....however, I don't have any experience with them...GL whatever you decide.

Betwenn Uarus and Geophagus there is no doubt that Geophagus should go.

There is no comparison between keeping Uarus and Eartheaters.

I have never, ever, seen Uarus harassing Discus or Angekls.

keep the pandas!! send the red heads to me!!

Honestly Joey its tough for anyone not in your position to say. There are allot of species, in smaller numbers in the tank. Both the ferns and geo species should be kept in groups. The tough thing about cichlids in communities is once you remove the aggresor(s), the next in line steps up to the plate, often one you had no issues with before. Which should go is more up to what your goals are. Both are beautiful..
