Im getting 2 new tanks next month and It will free up my 150, im thinking of going with a pair of Geos, I have never had any and all I know about them is from what I read online, can anyone here recommend a good type of geo? Im not really worried about cost I know they have some rarer geos out there, im really looking for one of the larger types that look good. Not a big deal if they are a common type. Also would more than one pair of different types of geos work ? If not I can move a pair of severum that are laid back in with them.

Bro Mikey at 50 Fathoms is my Geo guru. Let me know when you get set up, sand is the way to go. I put sand in my 230 and even though I fought the idea for years, the Geos love it and sift all day long. I have abalios, pindare, altifrons, surinamensis, neambi, tapajos, iporangensis, brokopondos, etc. Mikey is the one that got me into them, an he has fry too. Gynogeophagus, guianacara and Satanopernca species are also cool.

what about a group of red head tapajos? with your pair of severums? I think a group of smaller ones with the sevs would look great, and they are fun to watch as a group

Im planning on a 150 just for a nice pair maybe a pair of sevs with them

Oh okay, sorry about that. I would go with altifrons or the surinaminese then. Those would contrast the sevs pretty well if you decided to add those
