Geophagus

Guianacara Geayi

Stays on the smaller side (Males 5"/Females 3") and not a "Geophagus", but the Eartheater concept is still the same. I have a group of 6 (2 pairs have formed) and they are the most interesting Eartheater I've ever owned. Very personable to each other within their group.

I agree with G. altifrons when it comes to large Geo. They are magnificent and grow nice trailers when they are happy.

G. winemilleri gets fairly large too and look great. A little hard to come by, but Dan-Ye carries them now.

S. daemon is definitely my favorite Satanoperca :)

I would recommend 5+ instead of a pair. But, personally i don't think you can go wrong with any of the species. I second the Altifrons, beautiful species. Abalios is a similar species and equally as nice - smaller though.
My 2c.
