You said, "I've had the tank for 6 years with still some of the original stock most fish are about 3 years old" ......... beyond that what is one to assume, when no specific ages or sizes have been given? Are all your fish fully mature? I can only assume not, hence my comment.

Not that it matters much, this appears to be like a thousand threads before it, where the OP is simply waiting for someone to agree with their overstocking logic. <insert yawn>

To me a 10" fish needs at least 100 gallons. The largest fish for a 55 gal to me is nothing over 5.5", keeping a 10" fish in a 55 is akin to keeping an Irish wolfhound in a tiny bathroom 24/7.
A 55 gallon tank is basically a puddle, I doubt you'd find any 10" cichlid living in that size puddles in nature, unless it was on its last legs, the puddle drying up and a offering a feast for fish eating birds.
The uropthalmus in my video taken in a small Cenote in Mexico is where you might fish similar sized cichlids.

That may well be true, but if they advised you that all those large fish would be ok for life in your tank, then someone there is letting the side down. You don't need to be a genius to work it out if you add up the adult sizes of all your fish.
The knife alone gets 20 inches uarus over 12 inches, clown loaches also pass 12 inches.
I'm not trying to be an ass,I'm just trying to help.
Your tank with its inhabitants will be well overstocked.
