GEORGIA AQUARIUM 4/10!!

I've been a member since the place opened, and that display used to have 3 or 4 Arowana in there. Today I just saw the one in the photo... what chews up 3+ foot Arowana? Is is the gar? I don't think they are in the same tank....I thought there was some Payara in that display before.....but they were gone too.
Here are some more shots including the gars, a big sturgeon, cuddlefish and the Malawi cichlid display..

Maybe it is just a bad angle, but it looked awfully thin to me. Perhaps even a tank of that size can't house a whale shark properly.

I thought they all looked thinner than last time I was there, one of them already died a few months ago...I don't know if they are having a hard time with them. It was cool though, all three of them were up by the giant viewing window swimming together....the "speaker" lady there said it never happens and we were lucky to see them like that....it was pretty amazing to see three school bus size fish playing around togther.
