GEORGIA AQUARIUM 4/10!!

That SW tank is 6.2 million gallons, and the answer to whats eating the aros fins is that araipama that they have in there with it. I took a trip there last summer and that SOB snagged the aros fin and took a good sized piece out of it. That place can be only be described as amazing and awesome. It blows the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans out of the water.
My jaw just dropped when i walked around the corner in the Ocean Voyager exhibit and saw that acrylic window for the first time. its like 60 ft long by 23 ft high, by TWO FEET THICK, just friggin awesome. Good looking bro., planned on taking the wife and kids to the GA aquarium this summer will definately hit you up before making my final pay arrangements. I've been to the baltimore and charlseton aquariums, and they say the GA aquarium is the best, gotta see it to believe it
 
Awesome pics! Even at 6.2 million gallons, they won't be able to keep that whale shark forever. It will outgrow that tank or die, like it's former tankmate. I'm no expert, and I'm sure that the aquarium has very intelligent marine biologists on staff, but IMHO, it seems a bit irresponsible to try to keep a whale shark in captivity. It's obviously not doing that well.

I'll be in GA for Memorial day and the weekend before. The aquarium is at the top of my list.
 
Payara pics from last years payara tank! These were posted last year on opening day! Will they ever get there Payaras back? Does anybody know what happened?
