I didn't breed rams specifically but it worked work for other dwarfs. If you can get your hands on a microworm culture, this would be a good first food for them. Then after about a week get them on brine shrimp nauplii. I found the live foods packed the protein in and gave fry a jump start. It's not necessary but definitely doesn't hurt.
