I'm new to the site and was hoping you guys might help me out. I have never owned rams before and was excited to get these guys. The new Rams I got spawned last night, just a few days after I bought them. I wasn't expecting it so was unprepared and the snails in my tank at them while I was sleeping. I was just wondering how long before they may spawn again? I want to set up my 10 gal as a breeding tank but I have to go through it with a fine tooth comb to remove the snails in there. I just wanted to know how soon I should have everything ready if I want to keep the fry?

Yay, My GBRs spawned again last night! I sectioned off the tank this time and this morning the eggs were still there and the parents were being very attentive. I've been watching them on and off all day and the female keeps grabbing bubbles from the air wand and bringing them back to the eggs and releasing them, lol. Unfortunately, it's Easter Sunday and I cant go to my lfs and get some java moss, but I will tomorrow. I'm very excited but a little worried because I have never hatched the bbshrimp before and I don't know anything about it, lol. I've made infusoria cultures though. Keep your fingers crossed that we have a successful batch.
