Change it or not? Not sure if I'll get responses as this is definitely not a MONSTER FISH
But would love to hear your opinions...
I have my 30 set up with plants and neon tetras right now. The plan is to keep 3 German Blue Rams in it in a month or so, with the neons. The tank has been up and running for a year and a half. I moved my cichlids out of it in January 07 when I got my 90 gallon.
SO...
The gravel I have in it is the medium sized gravel substrate. Tough to describe any better than it's small pebbles about 1/8" to 1/4" tops. But, I think the Rams would prefer a finer substrate such as sand. I think that would be more natural for them? If I need to change it I'd like to do it soon.
What are your opinions?
Plants include:
Java Fern (on wood not in substrate)
Peace Lilly (in substrate and doing very well)
Anubias Nana (will be attached to wood soon)
And another small plant I have yet to identify (sorry)
Tank is 30 gallons and will have 12-15 Neons with 2 GBR's
Thanks to all!
