I saw Pedro had them a couple of weeks ago, but he seems to be sold out already.

Awesome piranhas. A bit pricey, but awesome. I'd be intrigued...

never kept them but they supposed to shoal which would be awesome. I think Pedro keeps them separated but I think George always kept them together in one of his larger tanks

Yes. I saw them at George's maybe a year ago or two. Very cool to look at. But I had no tank space let alone $$$ at the time. Not sure I could cough up enough dough for a group of them now, either...depends on finding a good deal.

Funny enough, they are said to be quite common where they occur in Brazil. Price must be a matter of getting them out of that region.

When i called nicole said $400 and they were 8 inches.

Id say
A 75 for a single specimen
125 for group of 3-4
180 for a group of 6

I had one a couple years ago when pedro got them in. Gorgeous piranha
